Node.js Developer

SmashCloud is looking for a NodeJs developer with experience with the MERN Stack to join its fast growing team. The role is focused on the back-end, however experience with front-end development will be a plus. An ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of professional development experience and have very strong logical thinking skills. Experience with cloud technologies on AWS and Azure is a plus, however, is not required.

  • Participate in planning, retrospectives, demos and daily stand-ups.
  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and high-performance applications

Perks

  • The ideal candidate should have Solid Object Oriented programming skills are important but having a strong computer science fundamentals background is even more essential.
  • Required Knowledge: ReactJSNodeJS, MySQL, MongoDB, Restfull API
  • Hands on experience using Express in NodeJS
  • Experience in commonly used Node.js modules such as lodash, moment, request, promise.
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Knowledge of MySQL and sequelize
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git etc)
  • Excellent core programming & database skills
  • Experience in Amazon AWS using Lambda is a big plus.
